Parts Warranty
Marine Infinity assures all our products, when correctly installed, are encompassed by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty includes:
- Warranty Coverage: We will repair or replace defective parts, at our discretion, without charge, or we may choose not to provide a remedy, based on our assessment following the return and inspection of faulty goods.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not extend to labour costs for the removal or reinstallation of parts, nor does it cover any other incurred expenses.
- Conditions Voiding Warranty: The warranty is nullified by submersion, deliberate abuse, careless handling, burnout, submerged units, tampering, or dismantling of the units.
- Claim Process: For warranty claims, parts must be returned to our registered address, accompanied by a written fault description, allowing us a reasonable opportunity for investigation.
Engine Warranty
For new and remanufactured marine engines, we provide a twelve-month warranty for pleasure craft (unlimited hours) and a six-month or 500-hour warranty for commercial usage, which includes:
- Transferability: The warranty is transferrable with the boat's sale, contingent upon Marine Parts Global Ltd receiving written notification from the original customer with the new owner's details and proof of purchase and date of new ownership within 21 days of the transaction.
- Service and Claims: Warranty service requests are to be made during our office hours. We will not cover repairs under this warranty without our explicit prior knowledge and consent.
- Liability Limitations: Our liability is limited to labour costs for the removal and reinstallation of engines found to be defective, capped at £45.00 per hour, and parts replacement at jobber cost, with the total labour cost not exceeding £750.00.
General Exclusions and Limitations
- This warranty does not cover routine maintenance, wear and tear, failure of parts not included in the sale, improper installation, accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorised repairs, or usage outside specified applications.
- Damage due to overheating and/or improper lubrication is also excluded.
Limitations of Liabilities
Marine Infinity liability does not cover indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including losses of profit, income, business, or management time. Nonetheless, we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Our total liability under these terms shall not exceed 125% of the price paid for the goods for any one event or a series of connected events.
This warranty underscores Marine Infinity's commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and our pledge to supply high-quality products and services with integrity.
